Combining a background in art direction with technical expertise in motion and 3D design, he leads projects that bridge strategy and aesthetics—transforming ideas into visually coherent brand experiences.\nDriven by precision and curiosity, Steffen collaborates closely with agencies and brands to push the boundaries of design, ensuring every project communicates with clarity, energy, and purpose.\nEarly Career # Danish-born creative, Steffen Knoesgaard holds a B. Sc in media and specializes in motion design and art direction for moving images. Steffen combines classic graphic design with modern animation and forward-thinking audio \u0026amp; music. Starting his career in Denmark as a graphic designer in advertising, Steffen worked on a variety of branding and broadcast assignments. After a 5-year stint of working in the industry, Steffen decided to move abroad to attend Hyper Island. This led to internships at WeAreFlink in Hamburg and Digital Kitchen in New York.\nAfter a year in the States, Steffen headed back to Europe to kick-off his self-initiated project “30 motion tests in 30 seconds”. This piece of work gained international attention and helped launch his freelance career. Exhibits are another beast. LED screens that need to be in sync, projection mapping, HUGE physical spaces, immersive multichannel audio, and huge screens reflecting on mirror-like floors and ceilings. Elements such as rhythm, size, level of detail, pace, the cadence of movement\u0026hellip;\nThey all need to be rethought having The Audience and their experience at their core. Do not be afraid of being slow. Understanding The Audience is there to create and experience a relationship with not only the visuals but the sound, the space, and the installation as a whole. Innovative Room # Innovative is the second space, where starting from the essential it is possible to discover what the future holds for us. Here techno-logical innovation acts as an enabler to explore new potential ideas. Our task was to realize their Player creation process, which involves genes, robots, and futuristic soccer in a dark lab. It sounds amazing, right?
